I am very happy and excited for being selected for a program in Taiwan. The government of Republic of China (Taiwan), is organizing an International Event to mark the 100 Years of Taiwan. As part of this program, the Taiwan government has decided to host 250 international participants to be part of the celebrations. The participants of this program will be given Home stay by the local Taiwanese people to learn their culture, tradition and lifestyle.
Although I have been abroad 12 times before to countries in Asia, Europe, Africa and Oceanic Regions; this trip is totally different from them. This is an wonderful opportunity where I am invited to participate officially in a country's centennial celebrations !
Other selected participants include Academicians from elite universities like Yale, Cambridge and Harvard; Sport persons who won medals at Olympics; National and International beauty contest winners; Journalists, Social Workers etc.,
